Steph Rubbo
As well as traditional equestrian goods I also make a range of leather fashion goods including belts, bags, travel accessories, card cases, glasses cases. Pets arenít forgotten either, with a range of collars and leads.

All of the leather goods I make are hand prepared and stitched using traditional saddlery tools. I don't use a sewing machine so there is a considerable investment of time and loving care in producing each item.

While I do have a small range of stock to hand, most items are made to the customers specifications, and the leather, lining, thread and fittings will be discussed when the order is being taken. From traditional English bridle leather to stunning brightly coloured and embossed leathers, I can make an individual item to your taste.

Steph trained as a Saddler, completing the Cordwainers Diploma in Saddlery, Harness and Bridle Making at Capel Manor College in Enfield. Here she learnt traditional skills in preparing and stitching leather goods by hand.

Her passion is making high quality bespoke leather bags and goods, designed to meet each individual customers requirements. Best quality English bridle leather is the primary material, and all are made using the traditional techniques and hand tools of the saddlery trade. All items are truly hand made to the specification discussed and agreed with each customer.

The Chocolate Factories in Wood Green, London N22, are a landmark development and hub of excellence for the creative industries in the UK.

The project started in 1996 when Collage Arts, an arts development agency, moved into the Chocolate Factory on Clarendon Road and converted several derelict floors of the Factory into artist studios.

What followed was a high demand for creative space and in 2002, Collage Arts renovated Chocolate Factory 2 on Coburg Road, next door.
