Faith Caton-Barber

I design beautifully unique bespoke wedding dresses for women who want to look and feel amazing, in a way that feels right to them. Each dress is a one-off created with love, care and attention out of the best luxury fabrics- they fit perfectly and feel fabulous. I enjoy helping women like you to feel good about yourself and the way you look, so that you can let go of any worries you may have about your appearance and get on with the important business of saying your vows, enjoying the celebrations with your loved ones and making great memories that last. While a wedding dress may only be worn for one very special day, it is a hugely important part of how you remember your own wedding. It lives on in photographs on walls, mantelpieces and even facebook. One of the great benefits of having a dress designed especially for you is that you can truly express your own style and taste while still achieving the ideal fit.

Whatever your style - and I design for women who love tradition, some who want to defy convention and others who have truly maverick, even eccentric, style - what's most important is that you feel great and look stunning. I studied costume design at Wimbledon School of Art and as well as creating unique dresses, I have spent so much time over the years helping actors and dancers to step onstage looking just right for their role; I truly understand how important it is to feel confident in what you are wearing (no matter how used you are to being in the spotlight!). I helped to make my first wedding dress when I was 17 and that was when I realised the impact a well dressed bride has on her groom, not to mention everyone else, and since then I've wanted to do my best for every bride who has come to me for her dress, her bridesmaids, flower girls and all her key women involved in her wedding day.

I studied costume design at Wimbledon school of art and have spent more time than I care to mention backstage in various theatres making sure performers step out looking 'just so'. Gradually over time the bridal and evening wear has moved to the forefront but I make little distinction between theatre & special occasions, it is all about enabling people to be the person they want to be in any given situation

The Chocolate Factories in Wood Green, London N22, are a landmark development and hub of excellence for the creative industries in the UK.

The project started in 1996 when Collage Arts, an arts development agency, moved into the Chocolate Factory on Clarendon Road and converted several derelict floors of the Factory into artist studios.

What followed was a high demand for creative space and in 2002, Collage Arts renovated Chocolate Factory 2 on Coburg Road, next door.
