Liz Sutherland is a painter who makes energetic studies of the figure, landscape and city.
Working in oils and mixed media she reduces a scene down to its essence and then records this with a bold use of colour and form.
Liz completed a B.A. in History of Art at UCL before going on to do a post-graduate painting course at Central St. Martinís School of Art.
Her solo exhibitions include The Highgate Gallery (HLSI), Delibar, City of London, The Groucho Club, London, The Old Fire Engine, Ely and The Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford.
Liz completed a Primary PGCE in 2009 and is currently teaching freelance in schools, community centres and museums.

|The Chocolate Factories in Wood Green, London N22, are a landmark development and hub of excellence for the creative industries in the UK.|
The project started in 1996 when Collage Arts, an arts development agency, moved into the Chocolate Factory on Clarendon Road and converted several derelict floors of the Factory into artist studios.
What followed was a high demand for creative space and in 2002, Collage Arts renovated Chocolate Factory 2 on Coburg Road, next door.
